This week I am thankful for much more than my closet

Monday: I'm out of witty titles...

Wednesday: Finding a new outfit each day is getting tricky!
I used to have this friend in elementary school that was obsessed with mix and match clothes. There was some store she shopped at (bonus points to anyone who can tell me the name of the store...I'm at a loss) that sold everything in the same color palette so you could mix everything. That shirt you wore yesterday with those pants? Pair it with the shorts today, the skirt tomorrow. I feel like I'm starting to do that. I'm pretty sure just about everything in my closet (well, everything I like anyway) has been worn at least once this year, but I'm running out of ideas. Help!

Summer Needs a Last Hurrah

I am beyond freezing these days. I can't figure out how to get my gas fireplace to work (where's a good man when you need one?), and my poor little toes are cold because of the fact that I refuse to wear socks...ever. But the one benefit of cold temperatures is that more of my fall and winter clothing emerge from their hiding places.

Monday: The Gray & Black Challenge Continues...and my sister continues to have the world's cutest clothes

Jacket & Blouse: Ann Taylor
Pants: Banana Republic Martin Fit (LOVE these pants...and love them even more this year because they're not as tight as they were last year!)
Belt: J. Crew
Shoes: Ann Taylor

Tuesday: The animal inside of you

Sweater: Caslon
Cami: Casual Corner (I know, I just wore this last week, but I love to wear it under things)

Thursday: If I'm under 35, I can still wear a mini skirt...or at least I keep teling myself that I can

Top, Skirt, and Tights: J. Crew

I'm declaring next week The Gray and Black Challenge. I've decided to wear some variation on gray and black every day. I'm actually wondering if anyone will notice. Stay tuned to see what happens :)

A Week of (not so) Thrilling Outfits

This week was Homecoming Week...or, in other words, an excuse to wear jeans and tennis shoes several days in a row. I love being comfortable, but I'll admit that I missed my heels and sassy outfits.

Does it count as retro if the jacket was purchased in 2000? :)

What should I wear to chaperone Homecoming?

I have issues (what's new?). The entire reason I look forward to chaperoning Homecoming every year is because it gives me an opportunity to dig through my AMAZING sister's closet to find the perfect dress. Katie - aka, the most incredibly gorgeous, generous, and kind sister on earth - brought me five options this year. Vote for your favorite in the comments or on Facebook.

Option #1: Black Strapless from White House/Black Market with my "Rock Tumbler" Shoes

Option #2: Floral Strapless with Pockets <3 from Von Maur

Option #3: Embellished Top from Anthropologie

Option #4: Patterned Strapless from White House/Black Market

Option #5: Navy Blue Lacy from Ann Taylor

Which one should I wear? Help!

Coming to you in HD...

Monday: The Matrix Reloaded
One of my classes decided that I looked like I belonged in The Matrix today. I found that hilarious, as did they...until I started pretending I was in the movie for the next 5 minutes. Then it just got irritating.

Dress: Banana Republic
Shoes: Ann Taylor
Necklace: J. Crew

Hot Damn! It's the Holy Trinity of my closet!

Tuesday: The Return of Summer
It's 85 degrees out. I miss fall. (Smack me in a week when I complain about it being cold.)

Top, Skirt, and Shoes: Ann Taylor (Boy, am I creative today!)

Wednesday: A Surprise Jeans Day - Yahoo!
I am always willing to pay $5 to wear jeans and today's Jeans Day was for a great cause - Ovarian Cancer awareness.

Thursday: Makeshift Pixie Pants

Top: Banana Republic (Another creative day!)
Pants: Express
Shoes: Target...I love being cheap :)

Friday: Jeans? Twice in one week? Really? How can I be so lucky?
